How we rank products
What decides the order of products on Suitality, what the Sponsored label means, and where each badge comes from.

Order in collections and search
In a collection, products first appear in the order Suitality sets for that department, called Recommended. You can change it at any time.
In search, results are ordered by how closely they match the words you typed.
Paying for visibility, or being a sponsored supplier, never moves a product up in a collection or in search.

Sponsored placements
Suitality shows selected products from a supplier in a dedicated block on the home page, under the heading Featured supplier.
- Every product in the block carries the label Sponsored.
- The supplier is named on each product and on the banner.
- The next to the label explains the placement.
- Sponsored products appear only in that block. Collections and search keep their normal order.
- Prices, minimums and lead times are the same as everywhere else on the site.
- Sponsored

Suitality does not use general environmental badges such as "eco" or "green". Under EU Directive 2024/825, an environmental claim must be specific and backed by a recognised certification, so only named certifications are shown.
Where the information comes from
Each supplier enters and updates its own product information in the Suitality supplier portal: description, pack size, minimum order, lead time, country of origin, certifications and documents.
If something on a product page looks wrong, write to hello@suitality.com with the product name. We check it with the supplier.
