Questions from yachts

All buyer questions

Where can I buy superyacht amenities in Europe?

Suitality lists shampoo, body wash, lotions, soap and guest kits from independent European suppliers in its amenities department. You can order standard quantities online or send a quote request for a full season.

Can suppliers deliver yacht interior supplies to a marina or shipyard?

Each supplier delivers across Europe from its own warehouse. Give the marina, shipyard or agent address in your order or quote request, and ask the supplier to confirm it can deliver there.

Is there a minimum order for yacht supplies?

There is no site-wide minimum. Each supplier sets its own minimum order amount in euros, a minimum quantity per product, or both, and this is shown on the product page.

Can I get amenities with the yacht name or logo?

Send a quote request describing the branding you want and the quantities. Suppliers who offer custom packaging or branding reply by email with prices and lead time.

How do I order bedding for non-standard yacht berths?

Measure each berth and include the dimensions in a quote request. Suppliers will tell you whether they can produce the sizes and at what price.

Are prices shown with or without VAT?

Trade prices are shown excl. VAT, on every product page.

How many amenities should a charter yacht carry?

Multiply the daily use per guest by the number of guests and nights until the next provisioning stop, then add a reserve for back-to-back charters. Round up to the supplier's pack or carton size.

Can I order for several yachts in one request?

Yes, one quote request can cover several yachts and goes to several suppliers. State the quantities and the delivery address for each yacht.

What refreshing towels suit a yacht tender or beach club?

Individually packed oshibori towels need no steamer or laundry, which suits use on deck and in the tender. They are listed in the Oshibori towels department.

Do I need an account to order yacht interior supplies?

Ordering uses a trade account, which is free to open at /account/register.

Yacht interior supplies: a buying guide for interior crew

This page is for interior crew on superyachts and charter yachts: chief stewardesses, pursers, stewards and stewardesses, and the yacht managers and agents who order on their behalf. It gathers the departments of Suitality that match a yacht interior, from guest cabin amenities and bedding to bath linen, tableware, service trays and individually packed refreshing towels.

Suitality is a B2B marketplace where independent European suppliers list their hospitality OS&E. Trade prices are shown excl. VAT, and each product page gives the pack size, the price per unit and the supplier's minimum order. Standard quantities can be ordered online and paid at checkout. For season provisioning, a refit, several yachts in a fleet or branded amenities, one quote request goes to several suppliers, who reply by email with prices, lead time and delivery terms. Each supplier delivers across Europe from its own warehouse, so you can give the address of a marina, a shipyard or your agent.

Yacht interior supplies from independent European suppliers

Suitality brings together independent European suppliers of hospitality OS&E, the operating supplies and equipment used in hotels, restaurants and spas. A large part of that range fits the interior of a yacht: guest bathroom amenities, cabin bedding, bath linen, tableware and service trays. Interior crew can compare several suppliers in one place, with the pack size, price per unit and minimum order shown on each product page.

Standard quantities are ordered online at trade prices shown excl. VAT and paid at checkout. For season provisioning, a refit or a full set of cabin supplies, one quote request goes to several suppliers, who each reply by email with prices, lead time and delivery terms.

Planning interior provisioning for a charter season

Most chief stewardesses work from a par level per cabin and per guest, then add a margin for back-to-back charters when there is little time to restock during a turnaround. Start from the number of guest cabins, the maximum number of guests and the number of charter weeks before the next provisioning stop.

Sizing quantities per guest and per charter

Count consumables per guest per day: shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, shower caps, dental kits and tissues. Multiply by guests and nights, then compare the units per pack on each product page, since pack sizes differ between suppliers. Round up to whole packs or cartons when the supplier counts its minimum that way.

Textiles follow a different logic. For bath linen and bed linen, plan sets per cabin in use, sets in the laundry and sets in reserve, so a cabin can be turned around even when the laundry is behind schedule.

Stowage on board

Storage space is the real limit on most yachts. Before ordering a season's volume, check the carton data where the supplier gives it, and prefer compact formats such as refills for dispensers and flat kits. Stock that does not fit the interior stores can be held by your agent ashore and brought on board in stages.

Superyacht amenities for guest bathrooms

The amenities and personal care department covers what goes into a guest head. Owners and charter guests notice the fragrance, the bottle and the finish, so order samples or a small first quantity before committing to a full season of one line.

Shampoo, body wash and lotions

Browse shampoos and conditioners, body wash and lotions and hand wash and lotions for the vanity in each cabin and the day heads. Soap bars remain common in owner suites. Check the bottle size against the space on the vanity and whether the bottle can stand steady when the yacht moves.

Refills and dispensers

EU rules on single-use plastics have pushed many venues towards refills and wall-mounted dispensers, and the same logic suits a yacht where every cubic metre of storage counts. Bulk refill amenities and soap holders and dispensers cut the number of small bottles on board. For crew heads and day heads, a fixed dispenser also stays in place at sea.

Guest kits and small toiletries

Keep a stock of dental kits, shaving kits, sewing kits, shower caps and combs in the interior stores, and place them in cabins on request or at turndown. The toiletries and wipes and tissue boxes departments complete the guest head.

Yacht guest cabin supplies

Guest cabins on a yacht are smaller than hotel rooms and built to the shape of the hull. That changes how you buy bedding, linen and cabin equipment.

Bedding for cabin berths

Yacht berths often have dimensions that differ from standard hotel beds, and some are shaped. Measure each berth before ordering duvets, mattress toppers and mattress protectors, and check the dimensions listed on the product page. For non-standard sizes, send a quote request with the measurements of each berth and ask whether the supplier can make them.

Offer a choice of pillows by firmness, and keep spare pillows in the stores for a pillow menu. Bedding specialists such as Pyrenex and La Compagnie Dumas list their ranges on Suitality.

Towels, bathrobes and slippers

The towels and bath linen department covers bath towels and hand towels for guest heads. Plan separate stock for deck and beach towels so that cabin towels stay in the cabins. Add hotel slippers for turndown and towel and bathrobe hooks where a cabin lacks hanging space.

Cabin equipment

For the rest of the cabin, look at room accessories, slim clothes hangers, small bins and hair dryers. Check the voltage and the plug type of any electrical item against the yacht's supply before you order.

Yacht tableware and service equipment

Tableware on a yacht has to look right on the dining table and survive the motion of the boat, the dishwasher in the galley and frequent handling between decks.

Cutlery and crockery

The cutlery, crockery and kitchen utensils department lists service ranges from several suppliers, including the cutlery maker Amefa. Plan cutlery by covers: the maximum number of guests, plus crew mess if it uses the same range, plus a reserve for breakage and loss overboard. Buying from one line makes later replacement easier.

Deck service, trays and buckets

For deck bars, the sun deck and the beach club, browse F&B buckets and trays and hospitality trays. Non-slip surfaces help when service happens while the yacht is under way. F&B packaging and kits are useful for picnics ashore and tender trips.

Galley and pantry

Many yacht galleys cook on induction. Pans and induction mats, knives and cutting boards and cookware from Combekk are listed for the galley, and coffee and tea supplies for the crew pantry and guest service.

Refreshing towels for deck, tender and turndown

A cool towel handed to guests when they come back from the water or from an excursion is part of interior service on many yachts. Oshibori towels are individually packed refreshing towels that need no steamer and no laundry, which suits the tender and the beach club. The Oshibori Concept supplier page lists its range. Keep a supply chilled in a deck fridge and a reserve in the stores.

Delivery to a marina, shipyard or yacht agent

Each supplier delivers across Europe from its own warehouse. When the yacht is in a marina or in a shipyard for a refit, give a complete delivery address: the marina or yard, the berth or quay if known, the yacht name and a contact on board or at the agent.

  • Ask in the quote request whether the supplier can deliver to a marina office, a shipyard gate or your agent's warehouse.
  • Ask for cartons to be marked with the yacht name and your order reference.
  • Confirm lead time with each supplier before a departure date, since lead times differ by supplier and product.
  • If the yacht moves often, have goods sent to your agent, who can consolidate several deliveries.

How to write a quote request for a yacht

A precise quote request gets comparable replies. Include the following:

  • The products or departments, with quantities in units and the number of cabins and guests they cover.
  • Berth dimensions for any bedding, and towel sizes for bath linen.
  • Any branding wanted, such as the yacht name or a logo on amenities or packaging, and the artwork you have.
  • The delivery address and the date the goods must be on board.
  • Whether the order is for one yacht or several yachts in a fleet.

Quote requests suit season volumes, full cabin packages, custom packaging or branding, and heavy or bulky items. Each supplier replies by email, so you can compare offers before placing the order.

Refits, new builds and interior packages

For a delivery or a refit, interior teams often buy a full set of cabin supplies in one go: bedding, bath linen, amenities, hangers and service equipment. Treat it as a pre-opening order, with a list per cabin and a list for the stores. The luxury collection groups higher-end products, and HD Fragrances lists scent diffusion for interiors.

Trade account, minimums and payment

A free trade account gives access to ordering. There is no site-wide minimum: each supplier sets its own, either a minimum order amount in euros per order, a minimum quantity per product in units, packs or cartons, or both. Suitality BV receives the payment at checkout and the order is split by supplier. The FAQ answers common account and ordering questions, and the venues page lists other sectors, such as hotels and private aviation.
